Who's Who??

As Shane and I were looking though some old
pictures tonight, we discovered how much the girls are looking similar at this age. So see If you can guess which girl is which :)

It really is crazy how much they look and act like each other sometimes. We both have a hard time remembering Abigael at this young age, thank goodness we have the proof that she really was a cute little baby at one point!!

Both such happy girls, but who's who?

Bow making!

So I have decided to try and be a little crafty these days and here is the fruit of my labor. I really wanted to try and "save" some money by making the girls' bows this year (of course there is always too many fun ribbons to get though!). I looked around online and found a couple of great websites with free directions and pictures to follow along to. It turns out to be a little more difficult than I expected just because you are dealing with ribbon, and it's never cooperative! But these are the ribbons I've made so far. I really like them all and can't wait to try out new colors. If you have any requests let me know...Michal ;) Though it is quite possible Eliana will be seeing more of these beauties come Christmastime! Let me know what you think of them.

Of course the beautiful Bronco bow :) My fav so far!!

Go Broncos!!

Both the girls and I decided we needed to cheer on our Broncos the night they played the Steelers. Obviously they didn't hear us through the TV but we were sure cheering as loud as we could for them. I love getting them in their little outfits and its awesome that I have something for them to wear in every size possible from 3 mo-2 yrs!! That's dedication for ya ;)

She didn't like getting the outfit on but she sure was cute in it!

Pumpkin Patch

Like last year, we wanted to find a fun place to take the girls and get some pumpkins to carve. We found a great church nearby the house. It was a great weather day and of course Abigael was on cloud 9 :) She went around trying to pickup all the pumpkins or she just sat on them! She got to sit on a saddle that was on top of some hay barrels, she thought that was pretty cool. We got two pumpkins for the house, mine was a beauty, but of course Shane needed something weird and different so he got one that looked like it was covered in smallpox :) But they turned out really great and were perfect for our home.

Halloween

We had a lot of fun this year on Halloween! Abigael was a witch and Adaline was her little black kitten. They were so adorable together. Abigael's school held a trick or treat night where cardboard boxes were decorated as houses and the kids "knocked" on the doors to get treats. She did great saying "trick or treat" and thank you to all the teachers. We even caught a picture of her and her teacher. Abigael really loves her school and actually looks forward to it in the mornings.

Halloween night we went around the block knocking on some doors. She really liked seeing other people dressed up and got lots of attention herself. Her green face and purple hair were quite the attraction :)

Getting Ready for Halloween!!

We are getting set for Halloween in this O'Hara household! Abigael is going to be a witch this year, and Adaline is going to be her blackcat. Abigael loves the dress she gets to wear, so much that we had to hide it from her until the big day. We are taking her trick or treating on Saturday and on the Friday before we are going to a cute Halloween night that her school is putting on for the kids.

As a home project for school the month of October, Abigael had to paint/decorate a little pumpkin to take to school. She loves to finger paint these days so it was a perfect opportunity for her to show us her stuff :) She was so careful in the beginning just using one or two fingers, but by the end she had both hands covered in paint and was rubbing the pumpkin with the mashup of colors created! It was a great day.

Guadalupe River State Park

Last weekend we diecided to get off our couch and get outside for a while. We found a great state park a little north of San Antonio. It is right on the river so Abigael was able to put her toes in the water and throw some rocks in. Adaline did really good as well, she liked being held by mommy and daddy and eating all afternoon :) Shane is really instilling into Abigael a love of the outdoors. Whenever she can, she wants to be outside with daddy playing in the sun! We had a lot of fun though at the state park. Except for Abigael getting bitten by some ants the day was a success.

Sisters, sisters, never were there such devoted sisters!

You can already tell that Abigael and Adaline love each other and know they have a bond. Whenever they are around each other they are always looking, laughing and touching each other. Abigael thinks is so funny when Adaline will randomly touch her, she'll pretend that Adaline is tickling her :) Adaline loves to watch whatever Abigael is doing and always turns her head towards her sister when she is near. They are really sweet next to each other. Poor Abigael wants so badly to have her little sister be able to play with her. She doesn't understand yet that she is too little to play. A couple more months though and i'm sure that Abigael will be so mad that Adaline is eating all of her toys!!

Haircuts by Jamie

Shane and I bought a hair cutting kit a while back so we could just cut his hair in the house instead of paying for a haircut every few weeks. It took a while for us to use it mainly because I was too nervous, having never even held a set of clippers before! But thankfully Shane was supportive of me and had confidence I would do a good job. I was scared of making him bald the whole time, but with his direction I did a pretty good job :)
