I got a call today from a Booz Allen recruiter in Colorado Springs who somehow heard I was interested in moving there. They are going to schedule a phone interview with me this Friday. I know we are in the middle of moving to a new home, but I'd hate to pass up this opportunity. I think Abigael will love Colorado... when she gets older.
I guess we will see how it goes. I have no idea what the job actually entails but I'd be open to a few different possibilities at this point. I was also just recently talking to someone who I used to work with in the Air Force and it seems Booz Allen also has some interest in having me work back in my old office again.
Time to work on the resume again!...

Colorado Springs, TEXAS right? No, I guess not. My dad wanted to retire there after he left the Army (or actually Omi thought she did - had alot of friends there). So we lived there for a year. It was pretty and I am sure much bigger of a town now. Then Texas called us home. Texas instate tuition and higher house prices figured in our decision. You have to follow your heart on this one. Don't let your "dear mother's pain and grief" deter you. I'll love you anyway, Mom.
Yes, but this "dear mother" would be so extremely thrilled to have one of her "chicks" living closer to home!! I still have a hard time believing that Texas got both my kids. (sigh) But Daisy's right, you have to follow your heart (and I'll add - good job opportunities). You all know what I'm hoping for. (grin)
